Shadowrun Seattle By Night
Patrick Wells is a man of means. While this term usually reflects a sense of wealth, for Wells it reflects his indomitable ability to survive with purely his skills as a negotiator. Wells started out as a concierge in a hotel, moved up to being a stock broker, worked his way into the pants of his CEO and found himself on the dark end of a gun. He talked his way out of that, scored some more money off his company and made a stack off the unfortunate and entirely unrelated death of said CEO.
This however did not escape the notice of the law, and while no charges stuck, his name in the industry was mud.
We return now to the long list of clients Wells had, for whom he had valuable contacts. Thus began Wells’ career as a fixer.
This too was slow to start but eventually prosperous. All of a sudden, just as he was rebuilding his renown, his fortunes failed. Three missions in a row turned disastrous and there were many bodies to explain. Now most of those contacts are gone, the money certainly is, and all he has left are those skills.
Wells knows that he is being fucked with. The list of those who could be responsible are many, but it is only a matter of time before he finds out, or dies.
And oh yeah. Patrick Wells is not his real name. Just one of the aliases he has, everyone knows it’s not his real name, but it is the name everyone knows.
